Daily religious instruction and school-wide prayer, weekly all-school Mass, the monthly Virtues Program,
and sacramental preparation are the cornerstones of building the faith community.
Christ Centered Learning
At Saint Agnes, faith and learning are central. Each day begins with school-wide prayers led by second-graders preparing for Penance and First Communion. All activities, including assemblies, lunch, and after-school programs, start with prayer.
Religious Instruction
Students receive 180 hours of daily religious instruction, reinforced by teachers who weave Catholic values into the day. Faith is expressed creatively through art and writing displayed throughout the school.
Parish Priests
Parish priests are engaged in school activities and strongly support Saint Agnes Catholic School. The pastor participates in school-wide assemblies, PTO meetings, and other events. Additionally, the parochial vicar supplements religion lessons during his weekly classroom visits.

Weekly Mass
The entire school attends Mass together each week. Students prepare the weekly liturgy and participate in various roles such as lectors, cantors, and choir members.
Special Religious Events
Several special religious events are organized throughout the year, including:
- Pre-K: Saint Agnes Feast Day
- 1st grade: All-Saints Day assembly
- 2nd grade : Penance and First Holy Communion
- 8th grade: Nativity and Living Stations of the Cross
- May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary
- Lenten activities: weekly prayer services, Stations of the Cross, and Penance
SalESIAN SOCIETY
The Salesian Society of Manners. St. Francis of de Sales is the patron saint of manners. He treated all he met with kindness and respect. His quote “Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself.” is something I try to remind myself of each day.
As a school our focus is on respect and good manners. Teachers continue to work with their students to respect themselves, others, and their surroundings. We will honor those students who consistently follow these teachings of St. Francis
