A warm welcome to Saint Agnes Catholic School! I am honored to share information about our rich tradition of Catholic education and academic excellence.
Saint Agnes Catholic School first opened in 1946 with the Sisters of Notre Dame, who were a source of inspiration until their recent departure in 2009. Saint Agnes has always focused on providing a Christ-centered education that fosters the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional formation of students.
Our students have an outstanding academic background, a strong foundation in the Catholic faith, and commitment to serving others. We are fortunate to have many terrific schools in Arlington, and so Saint Agnes must provide an academic education that is every bit as challenging as our local public schools. But we do more — we also nurture our students morally, spiritually, and emotionally. Thus our graduates are well-prepared for the excellent high schools in our area and for the most prestigious colleges and universities throughout the country.
Saint Agnes is blessed with a close-knit community. Parents actively participate in school and Parent-Teacher Organization programs. Our pastor and parish priests are very involved in the daily operation of our school. Saint Agnes Parish has a tradition of generous support of our school.
At Saint Agnes Catholic School, we follow in a long line of those who have dedicated themselves to making Christ known to others. We understand the importance of a Catholic education in preparing children to take their place in the Church and in society.
