All students eat lunch at school and are grouped with children in nearby grades (i.e. children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades eat together, then 3rd and 4th grades, etc). Pre-K children eat lunch in their classroom. Lunch is either preceded by or followed by recess.
Students either bring their lunch (and purchase milk at school) or participate in the Yay Lunch program, which is available five days a week. For more information and to sign up, click here. There are no vending machines, soft drinks, or junk food.
