Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders
Saint Agnes is proud to be a Leader in Me school, where every child is recognized as a leader with unique gifts and talents to share. Leader in Me is a transformative school improvement model that empowers students to discover their voice by embracing leadership roles in the classroom and beyond. Rooted in Catholic values, this approach fosters a deep sense of responsibility, respect, and service to others. Through this journey, students gain vital life-ready leadership skills that help them build meaningful relationships, take ownership of their education, and make a lasting, positive impact in their communities.
A Foundation of 7 Habits
The Leader in Me program is inspired by Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It provides students with a framework for personal and academic growth, focusing on essential leadership qualities like personal responsibility, goal-setting, and teamwork. By weaving these habits into daily routines and classroom life, students become confident leaders equipped to make meaningful contributions within and beyond the school.
Leadership Rooted in Faith
At Saint Agnes, leadership is more than a skill set—it’s a reflection of our Catholic identity. The Leader in Me program emphasizes values such as integrity, compassion, and service, encouraging students to lead with both heart and purpose. By aligning leadership principles with Catholic teachings, we nurture students who are morally grounded and socially aware.
Commitment from Our Educators
Our staff plays a vital role in bringing leadership to life. All educators at Saint Agnes have been trained in the 7 Habits and actively incorporate them into their teaching and daily interactions. Ongoing professional development ensures that leadership is not just taught, but modeled and embedded into every aspect of school culture. Teachers work intentionally to foster a classroom environment where students take initiative, set personal goals, and celebrate shared successes.
