Completed in 2022, the Saint Agnes Library provides students with an opportunity to discover their love of reading. All grades, from preschool through 8th grade, have library class each week. In addition to read-alouds and book talks, the students also use the library in conjunction with class projects. In the Upper School, students continue to discover new books while also learning study skills and leadership skills. In addition, the 8th grade students come a second time to library class to study Catholic social teachings.

Students in fifth and sixth grade have the opportunity to participate in Battle of the Books, a Diocesan-wide reading competition that involves reading 12 books across various genres. In 2025, Saint Agnes students won the competition, and we hope to continue our winning streak!

In addition to Battle of the Books, students have the opportunity to help in the library as part of a library crew that designs reading activities for the school as well as helping with the annual book fair.
